As a result of Neo’s experience in the construction of high load permeable paving, the City of Mitcham engaged the company to reconstruct Brookside Road with the key focus on protecting the local heritage and large native trees adjacent to the road.
Permeable paving laid on a special supporting bed of differing sized aggregate underlain with subgrade strengthening geogrid enable the road to both carry the through traffic as well as help reduce the localised flooding events and at the same time provide additional deep root moisture for the surrounding significant trees.

• Demolition of existing pavement and kerbing
• 450m of new kerbing and driveway inverts
• 540m2 roadway permeable paving
• 310m2 footpath permeable paving
• Reinstatement of Heritage red brick kerbing
• Stormwater infrastructure
• Driveway replacement
