ROAD UPGRADES  DISTRICT COUNCIL OF MOUNT REMARKABLE

The District Council of Mount Remarkable has committed to upgrading its regional road network in line with the community expectations. Neo were awarded the contract to upgrade 4 roads throughout the council boundaries including the construction of the associated stormwater drainage infrastructure and subsequent spray sealing of the pavement.

Neo were proactive in supporting the local community by utilising locally produced pavement materials, local spray seal company, utilising local accommodation and engaging workers form within the region.

SCOPE OF WORKS:

• 14900m2 of clearing and subgrade

• 8km of subgrade preparation

• 60,000 m2 of pavement construction

• 28,000 tonnes of pavement material cartage and moisture conditioning

• Installation of stormwater pipes, culverts and construction of swale drains and erosion protection

• 2 coat spray seal and prime

• Geometry and compaction testing

• Installation of road furniture and linemarking
